Information used by the service
SoapCalc stores account information and the recipe, ingredient, batch, product, preference, and compliance records you choose to create.
Public Recipe Database activity may include public recipe metadata, view counters, save counters, print counters, moderation reports, and display names for recipes you publish.
How information is used
Data is used to authenticate your account, provide requested calculations and workspace features, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service.
Your workspace
Recipe visibility is private by default unless you explicitly choose a public option. We do not ask users to place secrets or highly sensitive personal data inside recipe notes.
Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed by our merchant of record, Polar. Payment card details are entered with and handled by Polar and its payment processors — SoapCalc does not receive or store full card numbers. We receive limited billing information needed to manage your subscription, such as plan, status, and the email used at checkout.
Exports and deletion
You can request a copy of account data or deletion of your account through support. Public recipes may be unpublished or anonymized so community counters and moderation records remain consistent.
