This is not a recipe J & W Soaps created. It is a common recipe that has been around for probably centuries. This is my take on a Bastille soap recipe, but I'm sure countless others do this exactly the same way or very similarly. Bastille soaps typically contain 60%-90% olive oil. Since I like a little castor and a good helping of coconut oil in my recipes, I went with these percentages. This is only a recipe and not a tutorial on making soap. Please learn and apply safe soap making practices before attempting any recipe.
