BB Green Tea - Swirl

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 5% superfat · 3 views · 0 saves

She brews 14.5oz Green Tea (any variety) to 6.1oz lye (so 30% Lye concentration - take note and ignore using lye calculator!). The tea is the lye water (needs to be cooled). Do NOT insulate (no gel phase) if you want to keep the soap batter more cream, as Green Tea turns brown in lye water and colors the soap batter. I think this would be a great alternative for her Oatmeal soap recipe for turning that soap brown more naturally.
