Belinda Soap Blend

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 7% superfat · 4 views · 0 saves

We mistakenly added 160g of Castor oil and had to adjust the other oils, water, citric acid and lye to compensate. The batch was resized, but the percentages remained the same. Larger batch had 1 Tbsp of Bentonite Clay ,45g of Lavender EO, 2 Tbsp of Goat Milk Powder and 2 Tbsp of Colloidal Oatmeal Powder. Smaller Batch: (766g of soap batter) This batch had activated charcoal added to a small portion of the batter, and yellow mica added to the other half of the batter. These two colors where later swirled together in a one pound mold. 1/2 ounce of Lemon Verbena FO from Brambleberry was used to scent the soap. 4 week Cure Date: October 4, 2020 6 week Cure Date: October 18, 2020
