Coconut, Lard, Olive, Castor, Cocoa Butter Soap

Solid Soap · NaOH · 73 g oil load · 6% superfat · 8 views · 0 saves

I hot process all of my soaps and add the super fats after, before pouring into the molds. 1 - Add Sugar to the water BEFORE adding lye - stir until dissolved 2 - Add Salt to the water BEFORE adding Lye - stir until dissolved 2 - Add Sodium Lactate to the oils and blend slightly BEFORE adding the lye water. 3 - Add the Fragrance to the soap AFTER the cook, before pouring into the molds. 4 - Add 2oz Castor Oil to the soap AFTER the cook (mix with Cocoanut Oil before melting). This adds a silky smoothness after shower. 5 - Add 2 oz Virgin Coconut Oil to the soap AFTER the cook (Mix with Castor Oil) This adds cocoanut smell and conditioning. 6 - I added 5 oz fragrance oil also.
