Brew 5 oz. of coffee and use that amount for half of the water content. It will be 5 oz of coffee and 5.05 oz of water. Combine coffee and water, then add lye. Start mixing your oils and lye/water, until trace. Add fragrance oil and continue to mix until combined. Take 1/4 of the combined soap mixture out and set aside. Add the black colorant and coffee grounds to the remaining 3/4 soap and mix until your color preference. Pour black mixture into your mold. Add the remaining 1/4 batch poured gently into your mold, on top of the black
