Coffee Sugar Scrub Cubes

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 6% superfat · 3 views · 0 saves

Use apricot oil as a carrier for the cocoa powder at trace. 48 hrs, once saponification is complete shred up half the batch. Leave the rest to be used as soap bars. To make the sugar scrub cubes: Use 2 parts soap to 1 part Oil, all melted together, and mix with 3 parts sugar. Add essential oils (optional), and freeze in cube trays. I will add 18 to 30 drops of coffee essential oil. Example: 600 grams of soap add 300 grams of oils. In this case use 150 coffee butter, 150 grams of coconut oil. Melt these together. Next, mix oil and soap blent with 900 grams of sugar, and freeze. More sugar will be needed to roll cubes in. We'll use granulated sugar for this recipe.
