Cucumber Soap - 900g

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 7% superfat · 7 views · 0 saves

Fresh cucumber puree in place of water. Opt: 1 tbsp green clay mixed in lye solution to draw out more color. Add grated peel (very dry!) at trace. If making layers: pour half into mould, sprinkle spirulina powder onto soap, pour rest of soap into mould onto spatula. Margaret Wall adds ½ tsp salt to hot lye solution to increase hardness of bar, and ½ tsp sugar to warm lye solution to boost lather.
