Easy Bath, Face And Body Bar Soap
Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 7% superfat · 4 views · 0 saves
We won't add anything complicated to this recipe except for some colloidal oatmeal for slip, but we'll add it at first sign of trace. The water used is from soaking a bit of the ground oatmeal ahead of time, or some aloe vera juice, or bottled water. So, one recipe, 3 types of soaps. This recipe is going to be printed out for my workshop on Feb 27, 2021. Further notes will be added. Three students made 4 recipes. All simple and straightforward, cold process soap recipe. The only changes made were the additives. Ground whole grain oats, coffee grounds, cocoa and at the last minute, I added a teaspoon of honey to one of the small batches because the temps were quite cold. They came back the next day to see how their creations had changed and to unmold the soaps to take them home. Advised them of the minimum 6 week cure before use, and to keep them dry between uses.
