Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 5% superfat · 3 views · 0 saves
For 32oz Oil weight: Ginger E/O - 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml), Cinnamon E/O - 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml), Clove E/O - 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml), Patchouli E/O - 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml), Sweet Orange E/O - 6 tsp. (30 ml) Finely Ground Oatmeal - 2 Tbsp (30 ml), Cocoa Powder - 1 tsp. (5 ml), Finely ground coffee - 1 Tbsp. (15 ml), Confectioners Sugar - 1 tsp. (5 ml), Orris Root Powder - 1 tsp. (5 ml) Bring the soap to a light trace and pour about 1/4 to 1/3 of the batter into the bottom of the soap mould. Add the finely ground mix of cocoa powder, coffee grounds, orris root, sugar and ground oatmeal to the rest of the base and thoroughly mix. Now add the essential oil blend...you will have to work very fast fast at this point or the soap will cease. Pour the scented base over the white soap in a zigzag pattern going left to right and top to bottom until you have a grid like pattern. Quickly run your spatula through the soap in the same grid like pattern to drag the white soap through the brown until you have a nice pattern. Insulate the soap (if needed) and cut when cooled.
