Lavender and Calendula Conditioning Soap

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 5% superfat · 3 views · 0 saves

01/26/20; Coconut, grapeseed, olive, sweet almond, and castor oils infused with 1 oz lavender and 1 oz calendula in double boiler for one hour. Tempered cocoa butter for 1 hour at 100 degrees. Used a 10 % water deficit (204.5 g distilled water) and 2 tsp salt (instead of sodium lactate, which I didn't have on hand) added to lye mixture after it cools to harden bar since no palm oil is used.
