Solid Soap · NaOH · 1220 g oil load · 4% superfat · 7 views · 0 saves
Cut the soap into bars after too long: 14 days. The soap was still a bit soft but 3 weeks left on the shelf to finish curing, the soap is nice and hard. The smell of the oils is great. The hardness I think is given by the faux water and the cocoa butter which is high in both palmitic and stearic acid. So I think it is an ingredient that I will start using more often especially when I will use sunflower oil of which I have to much as marigold oleolite, where linoleic acid is prevalent and often causes the soap to get rancid.
