This recipe aims for 53ish % of saturated palmitic/stearic acid, due to their capacity to make a creamy rich lather. Coconut oil is add to ease the loading of the shaving brush. Oleic acid from shea and olive will moisturize and protect skin. Hemp oil or flaxseed oil is here to add somme other fatty acids, valable for the skin. 4% superfat is chosen to prevent the loss of lather texture of higher SF produits. Silk fiber is unbleached Tussah silk. Add silk in the lye water just After mixing the hydroxydes, to benefit of the heat. Swirl until complete dissolution. Melt butters but don't let the oil mix warm up over 40°C. Add the olive oil. When the lye water as cooled down to 40°C, pour it into oils and stir until trace. At trace, add heated honey. Mix thoroughly and pour the soap paste in mold. Put the soap in the cooler, thus preventing a gel phase. Test for pH After 24h of curing and let cure for another 4-6 weeks.
