Solid Soap · NaOH · 41 g oil load · 5% superfat · 3 views · 0 saves
Melt solid oils slowly. Add liquid oils and stearic acid to melted oils. Very slowly, a little at a time, sprinkle lye onto frozen milk. Stir until lye is dissolved. Add more lye, stir, repeat. When lye and oils are at 100 degrees, pour lye mixture into oils carefully and stir until combined. Alternate stirring with spoon and stick blending. When medium trace is reached, pour into molds. Spray with rubbing alcohol to prevent ash. Remove soap from molds in 24 hours. Cure for 2 weeks.
