Peach Magnolia
Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 6% superfat · 4 views · 0 saves
This recipe is sized to fit in the purple silicone mold in the wooden box. Prepare concentrated oat milk and measure out 1/3 of the liquid in oat milk. Measure out 2/3 of the total liquid as distilled water and add Citric Acid. Add Sodium Hydroxide (lye) to the water and set aside to cool. Measure fragrance oil and add Kaolin Clay. (Optional) Measure all the oils and melt in microwave. Add a small amount of oil to a ramekin and measure out the color(s). (Optional) Add Sodium Lactate to the cooled lye water solution. Add lye water solution to the oils and stick blend to emulsion. Add Oat Milk to the batter. Separate 25% of the batter into another container and add color and fragrance. Blend to light-medium trace and pour the bottom layer into the mold. Set aside to set up. Separate 25% of the remaining base batter into another container and add color and fragrance. Add TD to the main batter. Add fragrance as well. Pour the smaller color batch into the main batter in a circular pattern. When the bottom layer in the mold has set up slightly, pour the in-the-pot swirl over a spatula into the mold. Add texture to the top with a spoon.
