Potato

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 8% superfat · 6 views · 0 saves

Boil peeled russet potato in water to cover. Reserve. Puree 5oz of potato. To this add 100% of recipe liquid as potato water. Chill. Proceed with other pre-lye additives, lye. Manage temps (low) to prevent scorching of starches. NOTE: This makes forbidden jello lol! Starches will gelatinize the lye solution. It blends into the soap just fine with a stick blender. No acceleration of trace.
