Retired Soaper
Solid Soap · NaOH · 32 g oil load · 5% superfat · 5 views · 0 saves
Made to use a dollar tree jar of coconut oil (7.25oz) and one pound of lard and part of a small walmart bottle of castor oil. Since I don't really use these outside of soaping, this recipe let's me pull out the old equipment and make a batch without storing oils. DO NOT USE LYE AMOUNT AS IS. Measure out your oils EXACTLY as you empty out the jars/tubs too get the exact lye numbers. The qualities of the soap will be close enough if you have more or less of a particular oil, but you still need it to saponify safely.
