Small batch goat milk Soap
Solid Soap · NaOH · 18 g oil load · 5% superfat · 3 views · 0 saves
The temperature of the lye and oils must be about 90 degrees when they are mixed. The milk powder will burn and discolor if the temperatures are higher. I add the milk, titanium dioxide and lemongrass fragrance to the liquid oils. Then wait for the melted oils and lye to cool down. When the get to about 90 degrees, combine the lye slowly, in thirds. Check temperature of the oil. Keep it about 90 degrees. stir to medium light trace and pour. this fills the 16 bar, little trees mold… good for tiny sample bars. $2.00 ? Check cost…
