Import a SoapCalc.net Recipe

Paste your soapcalc.net JSON export and see it read into SoapCalc — then save it somewhere that keeps it.

SoapCalc.net lets you export a recipe as JSONbut has no account to store it. Paste that export below to read it into SoapCalc — the oils, percentages, superfat, water setting, and lye — then save it to a free account so it's never lost to a closed tab again.

How it works

  1. On soapcalc.net, choose Export Recipe (JSON) and open the downloaded file.
  2. Copy all of its contents and paste them into the box above, then press Read recipe.
  3. Review the oils, superfat, and lye. Create a free account and re-enter the oils to save it.

Why move off a stateless calculator?

Classic calculators forget your work when you close the tab. SoapCalc saves, scales, and organizes your recipes, and adds inventory, batch, and cost tracking — ad-free, free to start. See the full migration guide or the calculator comparison.
